Watch: Kelly Clarkson Falls in Defeat After Anne Hathaway Wins Song Contest

Anne Hathaway's musical talents took Kelly Clarkson by such a surprise that she face planted in defeat, reported People.

Hathaway stopped by "The Kelly Clarkson Show" to promote the film "WeCrashed" and was pulled into a game of "Sing That Name That Tune" against the host.

As the game began, Clarkson instructed host Matt Iseman to "play a fracking song I'll know." After agreeing to the direction, Clarkson's house band began playing her 2004 hit "Since U Been Gone."

However, Hathaway figured out the song immediately and left Clarkson stunned.

"How did you know it from just that?" Clarkson she asked Hathaway before falling to the floor in defeat.

"Kelly Clarkson, if you do not understand how much we all love that song...," Hathaway replied. "Everybody here knew it on the first one. Everybody here knew it! ... I love that song."

The whole moment was great TV and a testament to how much Clarkson has become a music legend in her own right.
