It's safe to say that the movie "Cruel Intentions" solidified Sarah Michelle Gellar, Selma Blair and Ryan Phillippe as 90s cultural icons. Yet anyone who has ever seen the movie knows another star was born in Phillippe's butt and the trio gathered to commemorate the special moment that was a gay awakening in so many people's lives.

Actually, the "Cruel Intentions" trio reunited to celebrate Gellar's 45th birthday and posed in front of art commemorating the film, reported Entertainment Weekly. But once again Phillippe's butt became a major focal point as the three of them stared at a photo that recreated his gratuitous nudity.

In a celebratory birthday post on Instagram, Gellar wrote "Art and surprises on my birthday. What a special day," Gellar wrote alongside the photos on Instagram

In another post, Blair gushed, "Happy birthday SMG. I love you forever and have since we met."

"Cruel Intentions" has become a cult classic since its theatrical release 23 years ago. The movie grossed $76 million at the box office on a $10 million budget.

Speaking about the role that was a challenge to her superhero persona, Gellar previously told EW that her team didn't initially didn't want her to appear in the film.

"My reps thought it was a terrible idea for me. They were like, 'You're Buffy! People have this great idea of you – why shatter it?' I was like, 'That's the point,'" she said.

And we are so glad you did! Happy birthday, Sarah Michelle Gellar!
