The coming spring collection from H&M- while surely having a desirable fashion range for women, men, teens, children and babies- will also introduce something new for the brand. Beginning this spring, the clothing line will feature garments made with organically grown cotton, available in selected stores in all H&M markets from March 2007.

"These clothes are great pieces of the moment. They combine a conscious choice of materials with the latest design, allowing you to look just as good on the outside as you feel on the inside," says H&M's head of design Margareta van den Bosch.

For women, it's all about clean-cut romanticism with wide A-line dresses, tunics, blouses and fine jersey tops teamed with leggings. In addition, there are sweatshirt couture pieces, a bra and hot pants. At H&M Mama. there are similar tunics and leggings, as well as an ingenious nursing top. Colours are neo trendy and vegetal-dye-inspired, like potato, aubergine, lime, dusty rose and grey melange.

Teens will find that the H&M denim in the organic cotton range is built on jeans, T-shirts and sweatshirts. Jeans are narrow or wide, long or short. For girls there are front print T-shirts and tank tops, wide T-shirt dresses and tunics, and a sweatshirt dress and jacket. Tops for boys include front print T-shirts, tank tops and sweatshirt styles.

For children and babies there are sweet romantic dresses and separates matching the ladies' range. For babies there is a selection of front printed T-shirts and leggings, while for newborns white is in evidence in bodysuits and separates with pretty prints and patchwork.

Prices for items in the organics collection run from about $18 for a children's dress to about $70 for jeans. All garments in the collection will carry a special hang tag, so customers can easily find them.
