Watch: 14 New Sapphic Pride Anthems We're Obsessed with

Pride month is for everyone! From the girls dancing alone in their bedrooms – not yet out but finding comfort in scrolling through rainbows on their Instagram – to the girls who pile into cars driving to parades with their best friends and dancing in gay clubs until early hours of the morning. We're celebrating Pride with these new sapphic bops.
"For the Girls" by Hayley Kiyoko
In this vivacious song, Hayley "Lesbian Jesus" Kiyoko sings, "summer's for the girls that like girls, the girls that like boys; the girls the girls the girls." The music video takes inspiration from her girlfriend, former "Bachelor" contestant Becca Tilley, with a cast that challenges stereotypes of what queer women look like, while leaning into the drama of the beloved reality show.
"Silk Chiffon" by MUNA ft. Phoebe Bridgers
"Silk Chiffon" by queer L.A. indie group MUNA and featuring singer Phoebe Bridgers keeps things light and lovely as the fabric the girl at its heart wears. Especially with the cheerfully-sung lyric "Life's so fun, life's so fun, got my mini-skirt and my rollerblades on," the song channels the way it feels like everything in the world is perfect when the girl you like likes you back. The track's music video ups the queerness as it is an ode to iconic lesbian film "But I'm a Cheerleader!"
"Honey" by Halsey
"She's mean and she's mine." How could we not include a song where Halsey writes about sex with an imperfect woman you're wildly into? More specifically, and quite explicitly, a song about eating her out. In this fierce performance, Halsey gets drenched in the honey they sing about.
"GAY 4 ME" by G Flip ft. Lauren Sanderson
The "gay for you" trope is problematic, but this song by nonbinary artist G Flip (now famously dating "Selling Sunset" star Chrishell) is an absolute banger! You can't listen to it without picturing the whole club jumping as the bass drops and G Flip screams, "she says she's only gaaay for meee!"

The "girls girls girls" chorus samples (and upgrades) Katy Perry's infamous "I Kissed a Girl" with lyrics that make it clear that singer FLETCHER kissing girls was not unexpected, not a phase, and not at all a one-time experimental thing.
"Mommy Issues" by Cloudy June
This one goes out to anyone who has ever typed "mommy, sorry, mommy, sorry, mommy?" on the Internet. The music video has the words "mommy mommy mommy" lit up in neon pink on the wall behind Cloudy June dancing. It's a playful song about how when she says "kinky" she's not referring to her curls.
"Girlfriend" by Rebecca Black
That's right, the pop icon invented "Friday" and now she's invented getting back with your girlfriend. This bop is very" blast this in the car to hype yourself up" on the way to actually go and get back together with your girlfriend.
"Persuasive" by Doechii
The chilled beat in Doechii's "Persuasive" is made for swaying seductively to, and its lyrics capture the feeling of looking at your crush –"how does it feel to be you" spoken softly again and again. The music video triumphantly shows how it's the perfect song to vogue to. Doechii is doing it for the gays, and she came correct.
"More Than a Friend" by GIRLI
Part bisexual-awakening, part friends-to-lovers vibes, this is a song about being horny for a friend. "My hands round her body, her perfume left on me, on top of the dresser, I wanna undress her... This girl's got me all messed up." It's an instant sapphic classic, complete with queer longing and drunken confessions.
"Slumber Party" by Ashnikko ft Princess Nokia
"Slumber Party" is the only song on this list that uses the word cunnilingus – and Ashnikko makes sure to annunciate every delicious syllable of the word. The song ecstatically represents something real that isn't often depicted: Spectacularly, unabashedly horny girls.
"Thank God You Introduced Me to Your Sister" by Sarah Barrios
This upbeat girls-do-it-better pop-punk song has all the bubbly joy of a teenage dream narrative –between two girls. "TGYITYS" is a bisexual anthem for sapphics of all ages to jump around their bedrooms to. It's extremely catchy, so put it on repeat from the get-go.
"Single in September" by Zolita
The Zolita Cinematic Universe is everything a queer girl could dream of. Her latest is a love story about high-school sweethearts, with the familiar aesthetic of teen movies we grew up watching, except super sapphic. "Single in September" is a song about a summer fling she wishes would never end. The bridge, "you are the love, the love, the love, you are the love of my life," provides pure anthem vibes.
"Julia" by Hollie Col
The latest in Hollie Col's sweet, warm-toned "Julia Stevens" music video series feels like a celebration of realizing that you're in love with a girl right before she's leaving town. It's a joyous party of a song from the perspective of someone trying to convince herself to ask the girl she loves to stay.
"This Hell" by Rina Sawayama
Saturated with badass, empowering lyrics (especially for queer kids who were told they're destined for eternal damnation simply for living their truth), "This Hell" from out musician Rina Sawayama is made for swinging your hips and singing "This hell is better with you!" at the top of your lungs. Saddle up, ladies, we ride at dawn!
