With an all-queer, mostly female cast, season 2 of Netflix's "The Ultimatum" has wrapped and is rapidly on the way, Variety reports.

Titled "The Ultimatum: Queer Love," Chris Coelen, Eric Detwiler, Sarah Dillistone, Stephanie Boyriven, Kelly Montalvo and Chris Cullen are executive producers on the new season with editing for the show already in process.

"We've already filmed Season 2. We're in edit on Season 2 right now," Coelen, executive producer and CEO of Kinetic Content, told Variety. "It's really exciting. I am deep, deep into post [production] on the show now, and it's great."

The format of the show follows six couples, on the verge of marriage, that must decide to fully commit and get married or move on. A highly anticipated success, before the show even premiered on Netflix in April, it was renewed for a second season.

The twist of course for this season being a mostly female queer cast, and it's a concept Coelen says he's been passionate about incorporating into his show and his other projects, including "Love Is Blind" and "Married at First Sight."

"I think we figured out how to do it in," says Coelen. "To me, the opportunity to tell lots of stories from lots of different people is really exciting and it's less so about the particular format that we tell those stories in and more about the fact that we're telling those stories."

When the all-queer cast of "The Ultimatum" hits TV screens, will you be watching?
