Meet Lana Del Rey's Rumored New Boyfriend Jack Donoghue

Lana Del Rey appears to no longer be single.
The singer was spotted with musician Jack Donoghue a number of times since the beginning of the year, and earlier this week, Donoghue seemingly went Instagram official with Del Rey by sharing a set of new photos. In the pics, the pair are posing together in front of Chicago's Cook County Jail and Donoghue, 33, added the caption "family visit."
People magazine pointed out that fans noticed the duo for the first time in February when Donoghue posted – and then deleted – a video of himself and Del Rey, 37, at a monster truck race where she called him "babe." Then in May, the "How to Disappear" singer was seen in videos and photos at his birthday party, but People Mag noted that neither musician shared anything from the event to their social media pages.
Donoghue is best known from being in the band SALEM, one of the pioneers of the music genre witch house, which combines electronic music with Southern hip hop, and rose to prominence with the release of their first album "King Night" in 2010. The band released their second album "Fires of Heaven" in 2020.
SALEM also features John Holland (and former singer Heather Marlatt) and back in 2008, Holland spoke to Butt Magazine about the band as well as Donoghue, saying they "hooked up a few times" and, when asked if they're dating, said "we're really close." When asked if Donoghue is a top, Holland said: "Oh yeah. He will never get fucked."
"He has this weird thing where he's, like, 'I'm not attracted to people I respect.' You know Dopey in Snow White? He's into that kind of person," he said.
In 2011, Donoghue was linked to dating Courtney Love after holding hands at an event. But he spoke to The Daily Mail and said they didn't date and only "went to dinner" together.
Commenting on the relationship between Donoghue and Del Rey, an anonymous source spoke with The Daily Mail in May: "They're like this unexpected power couple of dark, twisted Americana," adding that they are a "wholesome couple."
"They seem really into each other. I mean, she's made pretty clear in her music she likes bad boys with tattoos, Jack is that to the Nth level," they added. "Jack is all dark and edgy and seems anti-everything but underneath all that he's actually a good-looking guy, an all-American hunk. He's kind of like this troubled, hot guy, someone who maybe played football in high school but then dropped out to chase his demons."
Another source who claimed to be a friend of Donoghue told The Daily Mail that he is "really romantic."
"He's totally crazy about Lana. While she was away for a few days he was playing her songs really loud, making sure the sound system was good enough," they said, adding that Jack was "honest about taking a pretty wild ride through life in his music, but Jack's in a really good place right now. It's time for his big comeback."
