Neal Patrick Harris is dumped and down on love in new Netflix comedy series "Uncoupled," but he isn't giving up on love just yet. He is getting back out there to hilarious results.

As Entertainment weekly reported, the trailer for the new series follows successful New York real estate agent Michael (Harris) as he is dumped by his partner of 17 years. Luckily he has a whole host of good friends – in the form of Brooks Ashmanskas, Emerson Brooks and Tisha Campbell – and professional distractions in the form of a posh and prissy client Marcia Gay Harden to keep him grounded and moving on with his life.

"You need a d--- pic. You won't get anywhere on this without one," Ashmanskas (as Stanley) advises Michael in one scene, leading to him trying to take the perfect thirst trap but failing miserably.

The series is the brainchild of co-creators Darren Star ("Sex and the City", "Emily in Paris") and Jeffrey Richman ("Modern Family").

"We are so excited to share our series Uncoupled," Star and Richman said in a statement. "It is a passion project for both of us, one that has given us the opportunity to write a bittersweet romantic comedy from the perspective of a gay man."

They added, "While the world is specific, we believe the themes of love, loss, and reinvention will be relatable to everyone."
