Rapper Lil Uzi Vert Updates Pronouns to They/Them

Rapper Lil Uzi Vert has seemingly took some small steps to come out as non-binary.

As reported by JustJared, Vert subtly changed their pronouns on Instagram to "they/them," but eagle-eyed fans immediately took note and began sharing their takes on what it could be mean: Is Vert really non-binary? Is it a nod to a song? Is it all a publicity stunt?

Since updating its account settings in 2021, Instagram allows users to include their gender identities on their profile, and there are up to four gender identities available for users to choose from.

So far, the rapper has not released an official statement about the change. But Vert has released new music in the form of the song "I KNOW," and devoted fans are digging it.

Additionally, Vert has an Ep coming titled "Red & White" and a new album titled "P!NK."

Last week on Thursday, July 14, was International Non-Binary People's Day. Perhaps Vert's change of pronouns is fueled by self realization from that day.

If so, Vert could now be, as one user shared, "officially the best non binary rapper of all time"
