Reports: Dustin Lance Black Called Cops after Media Personality Gave Him 'A Tap on the Head' at London Club

Dustin Lance Black found himself at the center of a controversy over an altercation that took place early Thursday morning at a London club. According to The Sun, Black and his husband Olympic champion Tom Daley were out for dinner and stopped by Freedom nightclub in Soho where they ran into Teddy Edwardes, 32, star of BBC3 show "The Big Proud Party Agency."
Things went south while they were having drinks and Edwardes asked a person to leave the table. At that time, she claims, Black "grew annoyed... and threw a drink over her." She added that she responded by giving him "a little tap on the head." But security removed her and he called police.
She explained her actions on social media: "I went out for a couple of quiet drinks with some friends last night, nothing crazy and I bumped into Tom Daley and his husband in Soho, who pretty much unprovoked he threw an entire drink over me in Freedom."
"I didn't have a drink to throw back so I did choose violence, but I wasn't that violent he got a little tap on the head."
She also shamed Black for his response: "Tell me why he is crying outside saying it's a targeted attack and he's traumatised and called the police, so I have to wait for hours and now I have been cautioned and have to go in for interviews."
In a later post, Edwardes added: "I have to add that Tom Daley was lovely throughout he was just trying to diffuse the situation."
Edwardes said that she thought Black had been "watching too many films, what a mess."
A source close to Black and Daley told The Sun: "Someone punched Lance in the back of the head, the person who punched him was removed from Freedom by security who checked CCTV, it was reported to police who are looking into it."
Edwardes also posted responses from other women who claimed Black had treated them in much the same way.
Neither Black nor Daley have responded on social media.
