Watch: Tommy Lee Reveals Why He Posted Full Frontal Pic on Instagram

Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee broke the Internet earlier this month when he shocked fans by posting a full-frontal pic of himself to Instagram – a company with a strict policy on nudity. The image up was for several hours but was eventually deleted and now the rocker is revealing why he shared the NSFW snap.

Page Six reported that at a Mötley Crüe concert on Monday in San Antonio, Texas, the musician said he was on a "mother fucking bender" when he posted the pic.

"A couple of weeks ago, we had like a two-week break off the tour, and I went on a mother fucking bender, bro," Lee, 59, said. "I got fucking sideways as fuck and got naked and posted pictures of my dick."

At the time, it was unclear why the musician posted the pic with the caption "Ooooopppsss."

At the concert, Lee also asked fans to follow suit.

"Usually, I mean I'm a titty man, so I like to see titties, but tonight is equal-opportunity night. Tonight I wanna see everyone's dick. C'mon boys, pull your shit out. Pull your fucking junk out. Let's go," he said to the crowd.

The post comes not long after Hulu's drama "Pam & Tommy" debuted. The miniseries, starring Lily James as Pamela Anderson and Sebastian Stan as Lee, followed how the former couple's infamous sex tape leaked. The show even featured Lee's penis as a character, voiced by Jason Mantzoukas.
