Randy Fenoli, a member of the cast for TLC's long-running reality show "Say Yes to the Dress," got a yes of his own when he asked his boyfriend, Mete Kobal, to marry him, People Magazine reported.

The story came complete with a clutch of exclusive photos of the happy couple.

"I'm so in love," Fenoli, who serves as the Fashion Director for Manhattan's Kleinfield Bridal, a purveyor of wedding dresses that can cost up to $40,000, told the magazine.

"Every day I'm giddy," Fenoli added. "And every day just gets more amazing." The reality star added that his connection to Kobal is "nothing like I've ever had in the past. It's unbelievable."

All the more so, Fenoli went on to say, because, ironically, despite being "the king of bridal" and being in the business "for 30 years... I honestly just never thought it was going to happen for me."

Up until he and Kobal became a couple, Fenoli said, he had simply assumed he'd be a lifelong bachelor – a prospect he said he "was okay with."

"I was like, 'Honestly I have my career, I have my home, I have my dog, I have my mom,' and I'm like, 'I'm just going to be single the rest of my life,'" Fenoli said. "And then I met Mete."

The two first met last January, the article noted.

The proposal took place earlier this month. Despite being part of a carefully planned large gathering at New York City hotel Marmara Park Avenue, Fenoli and planner Marcy Blum managed to keep the proposal a secret from Kobal, with Fenoli's ruse being that they were going to have dinner at the Museum of Modern Art. What unfolded instead was the proposal in front of 50 family and friends in the hotel's lobby, People Mag detailed.

Blum told the publication that "Randy's vision was over-the-top, lush décor, a big wow moment and all his family and friends in one room to celebrate his proposal to Mete," and they not only pulled it off – they also got Kobal's family, who live in Turkey, involved via Zoom.

"As anyone who knows Randy either personally or from television knows, 'understated' is not in his vocabulary," Blum pointed out. "With the help of our friends at Mixed Greens Event Design, we crafted an over-the-top, yet exquisitely romantic setting for him to propose."
