Out NFL Player Carl Nassib Confirms Relationship with Olympic Swimmer Søren Dahl

After months of social media teasing, openly gay NFL football player Carl Nassib has confirmed that he and Danish Olympic swimmer Søren Dahl are a couple.
Nassib, who plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, made it "IG Official" in an Instagram Story post that welcomed the new year with a photo of the two. Nassib has an arm wrapped around Dahl, who is wearing a Bucs football jersey with Nassib's number on it.
Lest there be any doubt as to their relationship status, Nassib captioned the photo: "Kicking off 2023 with my man and a trip to the playoffs".
Dahl, who swam for Denmark in the 2016 Olympics, posted the same image to his own IG feed, with the words "Always Big Boy Season 🤍". Along with that photo, Dahl shared a carousel of additional images as well as a video of Nassib on the field for the playoffs.
Speculation that the two are a couple has swirled since last summer, when posts by Dahl, who is also openly gay, showed him in Nassib's company. Nassib responded to at least one of Dahl's posts with red heart emojis.
Fans on social media celebrated photos of the two last summer, and expressed their elation all over again now that their guesses about the two being a couple have been proven correct.
"The way he's looking for you and then that side smile when he sees you...everything," one Insta user gushed over Dahl's recent post.
"Love this and love you guys together!!!" another raved.
Another jumped into the spirit of the post with, "Love this so much! Love out loud 🥰🥰🥰🥰"
Another agreed: "😍😍😍 Two lucky big boys"
The comments continued: "Wow what a handsome couple. Love to see one of my fellow danes finding the love of his life. ❤️❤️"
