Out Actor Keiynan Lonsdale to Return to CW's 'The Flash'

CW's "The Flash" is pulling out all the stops for its final bow beginning February 2023. As reported by the Daily Mail, three former cast members are set to return to the show, with out actor Keiynan Lonsdale set to reprise his Flash role as Wally West/Kid Flash.

Additional stars returning include Sendhil Ramamurthy as Bloodwork and David Ramsey reprising his role as John Diggle.

"Grant Gustin will also return as the title character along with two of the original stars, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow and Candice Patton as Iris West-Allen," Daily Mail reports.

The hit show has been on for eight seasons, wrapping its ninth adn final season this year. Lonsdale previously starred in seasons 2-4 of the show and guest starred in seasons 5-6.

'Kid Flash isn't just another speedster – he's a beloved part of our Team Flash family. So as soon as we knew he was coming back, we set out to create a special and heartfelt story for his return," explained Showrunner Eric Wallace in a statement.

"The result is a brilliant performance from Keiynan that showcases a side of Wally West you've never seen before," he added.

A Twitter account for the show shared a photo for the new season with a caption that reads: "Balance will need to be restored. The final season of #TheFlash begins Wednesday, February 8 on The CW! #TheFinalRun."
