Former NY1 weatherman Erick Adame received international attention when it was discovered that he was fired in September after images of him live-streaming nude and performing sex acts leaked online.

Adame has publicly commented about the situation and came out against the amount of the attention he has received after having such a private moment become public.

In a new interview, the Emmy-nominated, out-of-work meteorologist told WNYC that he believes the whole ordeal was motivated by a mystery voyeur who wanted to cause him pain and embarrass him, reported the New York Post.

"I concluded, it's the same person that is just obsessed with posting these pictures of me," he said. "Some of them are so humiliating."

Adame, 39, has reportedly hired a lawyer to help track down the IP address of the person who posted the images of him online. As part of the process police are now looking into the photo leak and investigating the incident as a potential case of revenge porn.

"Under New York law, a person must have a 'reasonable expectation of privacy,' and live-streaming may not be protected," the Post reports.

"There is a mixture of support and then you'd have this random message calling me whatever name to degrade me and then saying you want some more? I can be your daddy," said Adame. "You know –no. I just lost this job that I really loved. I'm being publicly humiliated and you think I enjoy this?"

Adame has apologized many times for the incident becoming public and admitted that he had a "compulsion." He also said that perhaps it was "absurd of me to think I could keep this private."

"Showing off and getting that type of praise and being called sexy, I wanted to see more. Hearing that from someone on the other end made you feel so good," said Adame.

Now in a committed relationship, Adame said that his sex life has left the internet.

Adame lives in New Jersey. NY1 is based in Manhattan.
