Dannii Minogue Helps Queer Love Blossom on BBC Dating Show 'I Kissed a Boy'

Pop star Dannii Minogue is coming to help queer love blossom in a new eight-part dating show titled "I Kissed A Boy."

As reportedby Bustle, Minogue, sister to pop icon Kylie Minogue, will host the series on BBC Three.

The show will follow ten single men who jet off to Europe to find their soulmate. But of course there is a catch: Before the show starts, they will be matched with a potential partner, and they have to makeup before they get a chance to introduce themselves.

This seems pretty standard in the gay world, but, of course, drama ensures as the potential couples grapple with intimate moments and betrayals.

There is no release date for the show year, but BBC describes the show as a show "where preconceptions will be challenged and dramatic decisions made." They added that the show will unveil "whose sparks will ignite, whose eyes might wander, and who will end up together in the ultimate summer of love."

David Brindley, the chief creative officer of production company Twofour, said the series will "revel in telling stories we don't always hear of, witness heart-warming relationships blossom, and celebrate inclusivity from start to finish."

And Minogue is said to be thrilled to be a part of it.

"There are millions of people in the UK looking for love. And I believe love is for everyone," said Minogue. "So I am so thrilled for a gay dating show to be entering the sea of other dating shows that have existed for years."
