Jared Leto Gets Buff with New Instagram Post

Jared Leto chose to share his buff physique on Instagram just as he lines up a major film role.

The 51-year-old bearded actor posted a selfie in which he wears a baseball cap while showing off his lean, smooth body. His signature long hair can be seen flowing behind the cap.

Alongside the sexy shot, he cheekily penned: "Miss you xx"

The pic comes with the announcement that Leto will be starring in a new "Tron" sequel, according to Deadline.

"A new installment of Tron is coming back online. The Dish hears that Disney is in early negotiations to set Joachim Rønning to direct Jared Leto in Tron: Ares. The film is crewing up, eyeing an August start date in Vancouver," writes Deadline.

The sexy thirst-trap was posted just after a far more disturbing pic of the actor turned up on the web. "'Suicide Squad' writer-director David Ayer has released a new photo of Jared Leto's Joker," reported|reports the website CBR.

"Ayer shared the image on Twitter, featuring Leto's Clown Prince of Crime equipped with a purple handgun and a ghoulish open-mouthed grin that showcases his silver-plated grills. Ayer shared the photo in response to a fan who asked him to share more images of Joker while expressing his admiration for the filmmaker. The fan has since made the image their profile picture."

CBR adds "Many of the images Ayer has been releasing lately are from scenes not featured in the 2016 theatrical cut of Suicide Squad, the post-production of which was mired by studio intervention, according to Ayer. The director has long spoken about the differences of Suicide Squad's director's cut, which he calls "vastly better." He also says that he has been in contact with DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn on potentially releasing an "Ayer Cut" of the film. "I spoke to him a while ago," Ayer said. "All with patience. He has the right to put together his new universe before visiting the past. Cheer up. Good things are coming."
