Meet Gordon and Mateo -- 'For The Love of DILFs' Winning Couple

READ TIME: 4 MIN.

It was DILFs vs. MILFs in a battle between two reality shows recently. The MILFs were represented with the much maligned "MILF Manor," which was slammed for making the MILFs the mothers of the younger, male contestants. (Ewww).

The DILFs fared better on "For the Love of DILFs," the OUTtv series that brought unrelated Daddies and younger guys (called Himbos) together to make (or not make) a connection.

The show had the cache of being hosted by Stormy Daniels, the adult star in the news due to her brief relationship with Donald Trump that led to the ex-President's indictment for allegedly paying Daniels to cover it up. In describing the show, Pride.com writes: "Sure, there were sexy, silly challenges and its host Stormy Daniels brought plenty of camp and wit to the proceedings, but the men weren't afraid to get real about their feelings and the show often explored more pressing topics than jockstraps (though those featured heavily as well) like consent, communication, sex work, and ultimately love."

The show has been renewed for a second season with Daniels hosting, wrote The Daily Express. She said that she is already getting requests from men wanting to compete on season 2. "And you know what?" she said, "A whole bunch of hot guys who have seen the show are hitting me up, like I have some sort of casting [pull], wanting to be on it.

"So unexpected positive outcome, I'm getting a lot of d**k pics from people who want to audition for season two."

As for the recently completed season – spoiler alert -- the final episode pitted two couples to win a $10,000 prize: Bobby and Nathan, and Gordon and Mateo. The winner was voted by the other contestants (less one who did not return). "After a tight vote that almost came down to a tie, Gordon Osborne and Mateo Escobar were chosen by their castmates to come out on top. The two may not have started together, but they quickly paired up and never looked back – even when it stirred up some drama," adds Pride.

Often cited as the most Himboish of the Daddies, Canadian-Osborne (according to the show's website)"is an avid traveler, fitness geek, successful businessman, and entrepreneur. Working in media production with some of the largest YouTube channels in the world, he'll be launching his own channels later this year. He is also the founder and co-CEO of an underwear line set to hit the market this spring that emphasizes comfort, quality, and style."

(according to the show's website 23-year-old, Mexican-born Escobar plays tennis, having ranked second in Mexico. "After moving to the States, Mateo continued to play tennis at Ave Maria University where he graduated with a degree in managerial economics and Strategic Analysis. Outside of his career, he is very passionate about music and living a healthy lifestyle."

The couple won three challenges over the show's run, though at first Osborne looked to pair with Tokeyo, another contestant. But, speaking with Pride, Osborne said "We both knew we weren't connecting on a very intimate level at all. I think both of us were kind of looking for an out. I maybe took the first step on our first date at the picnic. In a nice way, I was like trying to dump him I guess. [Laughs] Or at least give him a heads-up like, 'this isn't really working out for me, I'm gonna choose someone else.' And he didn't take that very well."

Tokeyo did not, which led to some drama. "When we had our little fight, or whatever you want to call it, I was honestly just stunned throughout the whole thing just watching the way he was reacting and rolling around on the pool table and stuff. Whether that was his defense mechanism, I don't really know," explained Osborne.

Osborne added about the moment he knew Escobar was the one. "It was very organic. You could kind of tell I wasn't happy with Tokeyo. I think you were with Big Tony and you guys weren't necessarily jiving."

During the finale, the initial votes favored Bobby and Nathan, which led Escobar to think they were going to lose. "I was a little bit surprised because they had four votes at first, and we had one. So in my mind, I was already like, 'we're finished. I don't think we're gonna win.' But then it picked up pretty well with the votes. Obviously, to me, we deserved it. [Laughs]"

The first thing the couple did when they left the house was get a hotel room. "Well, the night that we finished filming, we got the hell out of the house and got a hotel room," Osborne explained laughing. "Which is good. Life was a little bit crazy for a few months. I was able to get down there on both of our birthdays on the same day. So I flew into Fort Lauderdale for our birthdays, and we, you know, had a little pool party and that kind of thing."

Asked if there were any hook-ups in the house during the series, "I won't throw them under the bus, but there's people that hooked up for sure!
