Warner Bros. and Mattel's upcoming "Barbie" romantic comedy, directed by Greta Gerwig, seems destined to be the onscreen party of the year.

As reported by The Hollywood Reported, a trailer and multiple posters for the film dropped showing off the film's seemingly endless cast of famous characters all playing some version or variety of Barbie and Ken and their friends.

It's a feast for the eyes, and this star-studded film is bound to be iconic. Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling are at the center of the film as classic Barbie and classic Ken respectively.

Joining them, and try to keep up, is Issa Rae's president Barbie, Kate McKinnon's gymnast Barbie, Dua Lipa's mermaid Barbie, Nicola Coughlan's diplomat Barbie, Alexandra Shipp's writer Barbie, Emma Mackey's physicist Barbie, Ritu Arya's journalist Barbie, Sharon Rooney's lawyer Barbie, Hari Nef's doctor Barbie and Ana Cruz Kayne's judge Barbie.

And let's not forget Barbie's friends and family, including Emerald Fennell's Midge, "Barbie's longtime best friend who was introduced during the toy line's vintage days," THR reports. "In later iterations, she eventually marries a male doll named Alan, has kids and gets pregnant again. (The doll, which was pregnant during its Happy Family line iteration, faced criticism from parents who believed Midge was too young to be pregnant, resulting in Mattel rereleasing Barbie's best friend in 2013 but, this time, as unmarried, not pregnant and without children.)"

In the role of Alan is Michael Cera. Backing up Gosling are a diverse group of Kens played by Ncuti Gatwa, Simu Liu and Kingsley Ben-Adir.

All this is bound to stir up some nostalgia for those who grew up playing with the iconic doll and her many variations.

In the trailer for the film, Barbie breaks free from her perfect universe and enters the human world. And because it's Barbie, hilarity ensues, differences are dramatized, and everyone has fun.
