'God Hates Sodomy' – Ex-SNL Cast Member Victoria Jackson Spews Homophobic Rhetoric at Tennessee City Council Meeting

Ex-SNL performer Victoria Jackson made a name for herself in the past few years as an extreme right-wing commentator with homophobic views. She has, though, been largely under the radar, that is until this week when she re-emerged with a venomous rant at a city council meeting in Franklin, Tennessee, according to the Daily Mail.

The 63-year-old comedian took to the podium "to slam the gay community at the meeting to discuss a gay pride parade. She said: 'God hates sodomy. He hates homosexuality. He said it's an abomination. God hates sexual immorality of all kinds."

Adding: "And God hates pride. Proverbs 11:12: When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom."

She went on to quote Scripture. "'The Lord detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished.' Proverbs 16:18: 'Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.'"

"And Sodom and Gomorrah proves that God hates sodomy," Jackson continued, "and sexual immorality and pride and it's still there, and archaeologists have uncovered it," she continued.

"Jackson ended her impassioned rant by encouraging the generation to 'not be brainwashed', telling them to watch Becket Cook's videos on YouTube. Cook has been documenting his journey from gay atheist to Christian on the website," the Mail said.
