The "Sex and the City" revival "And Just Like That" is officially back.
As announced by Sarah Jessica Parker herself via Insta, the season 2 trailer for the show is here, and our favorite middle-aged New Yorkers are back with more lessons on love and life.
HBO Max, which will be just Max by the time the show has its premiere, also announced that season 2 will hit in June. No specific date was given, but its peak TV for Pride Month.
With Carrie (SJP) back in the narrator chair, the trailer begins with this sentiment: "No matter what life hands you, you can always count on your closest friends to be there."
Those friends include, of course, Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), Charlotte (Kristin Davis), and newcomers Nicole Ari Parker, Sarita Choudhury and Karen Pittman. Not to mention love interests Che (Sara Ramírez) and Carrie's podcast producer, Franklin (Ivan Hernandez).
"It's just sex!" Carrie announced in one scene, and we couldn't agree more.
But the biggest moment in the trailer was the return of Carrie's ex-boyfriend/ex-fiancé Aidan (played by John Corbett).
"And just like that," Carrie continued in the voice over, "I realized some things are better left in the past. But maybe... not everything."
Squeal!
To recap, Carrie also made up with an invisible Samantha and spread the ashes of the late Mr. Big in Paris while standing on their favorite bridge.
The December 2021 premiere of the first season of the show marked the most successful Max original series since its launch.
