'Pose' Star Michaela Jaé Rodriguez Joins 'American Horror Story' Season 12

"Pose" star Michaela Jaé Rodriguez is staying in the Ryan Murphy Universe.

Deadline is reporting the Golden Globe-winning star will join the "American Horror Story" Season 12 cast, which already includes Kim Kardashian, Emma Roberts and Cara Delevingne, (Delevingne was announced just last week). Though there isn't a lot of information about the upcoming season of the FX horror anthology series, it's reportedly being called "AHS: Delicate," because it's based on Danielle Valentine's thriller novel "Delicate Condition." The website also reported the new season will be out in August. Additionally, Halley Feiffer is adapting the show and serves as showrunner.

"The season reportedly follows a woman who becomes convinced that a sinister figure is going to great lengths to make sure her pregnancy never happens. Season 12 is also being billed as a feminist update of 'Rosemary's Baby.' Rodriguez's role is being kept under wraps," Deadline added.

When it was announced that Kardashian was joining the "AHS" universe, the show's co-creator Ryan Murphy gave a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family," he said. "Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture. Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done."

Rodriguez, who also stars in the Apple TV+ comedy series "Loot," had her breakout role in Murphy's voguing series "Pose," which earned her an Emmy nomination and a Golden Globe win.
