2023 Rewind: Jason Momoa Wants to Show Off His Fridge & Gym

"I didn't know you were coming. I would have dressed up if I knew," says actor/director and "bad ass" Jason Momoa when Men's Health arrived at his door for a video interview. Momoa was located in Aotearoa, New Zealand, where he is shooting "Chief of War" for AppleTV+.

The video – entitled "Gym & Fridge" – begins with Momoa answering the door with an open bathrobe and nothing on underneath. The Men's Health editors provide him cover with an emoji.

The 43-year-old actor (soon to be seen in Fast_X"Fast X") then proceeded to offer Men's Health a look at his refrigerator and his workout while he stayed in various stages of undress. At one point he put on a pair of baggy, black shorts only to remove them to demonstrate his prowess when riding a mountain bike.

The staples in his refrigerator include water because, as Momoa puts it, "a growing boy needs water." And everything he needs for pre- and post- workouts, as well, "most importantly, party-time workout," which includes aloha ham. ("Gotta have the pork... and poi, baby." Men's Health points out that "Poi is the starchy food paste made with the taro root." For his "chill-out-and-go-to-bed workout," Momoa says he might have some fresh apple kava. "Kava is used to relax mind and reduce stress," adds Men's Health.

Momoa also adds beer to his chill routine, opening a refrigerator drawer filled with cans of Guinness, one of which he opened and drank. "That's the secret," he says while taking a swig.
