Andrew Rannells may be best known for his TV roles but he's also an award-winning performer who has appeared in plays such as "The Book of Mormon "Falsettos," "Hairspray," "Hamilton," and "Jersey Boys." Rannells has the voice of an angel, earning Tony nominations and winning a Grammy during his career.

The stage isn't the only place you may have seen Rannells, though. Television fans may have seen him in shows like "Black Monday" with Don Cheadle and "Girls" with Lena Dunham. More recently, he's appeared on the hilarious comedy series "Girls 5 Eva." These allow him to showcase his wit and charm. We want to give you a more complete look at Rannells' personal life with a look at his Instagram posts, and maybe you'll be enticed to check out some of his talented work on stage and screen!

Rannells has started to get into voice acting a lot more in recent years, but here he decides to advertise adding a voice to his memoir "Uncle of the Year." The biography is a collection of Rannells' musings on life as he enters middle-age, something that is oftentimes even scarier for queer people due to pressure and beauty standards amongst people in the LGBTQ+ community. Rannells jokes that the location of his audiobook recording in Italy is too esteemed for his personal tales of sexual escapades and behind-the-scenes events at the Tony Awards.

Rannells isn't afraid to show off his love for his boyfriend, and fellow actor, Tuc Watkins. Watkins and Rannells have been dating since 2019, and in this post, Rannells shares a photo admiring the good looks and calm demeanor of his partner. The two are enjoying a trip to Italy as indicated by the caption by Rannells and the location stamp on the post. What a romantic location for a getaway!

Elton John is a bonafide musical legend and an LGBTQ+ icon. No wonder Rannells and his "Tammy Faye" co-star Katie Brayben are so ecstatic to meet the "Rocket Man" singer in person. This is a wonderful look at the ways celebrities can get star-struck just as much as the rest of us depending on the person they're meeting. We'd love to talk with all three of these talented performers if given the chance!

This photo is awesome for a couple of big reasons: Let's start with getting to see Rannells during his graduation and with a cap and gown on. Graduation is a landmark moment for everyone, even actors. The second reason this picture is awesome is because it comes with Rannells asking in the caption for donations to a charity that helps teenagers find adoptive parents. Many LGBTQ+ teens are left homeless after coming out, so this hits home especially for those who are left behind. Not to mention, Rannells' parents are as adorable as can be!

Rannells asks fans to watch his series "Black Monday" in this hilarious photo of him eating cake in bed while wearing a retro Los Angeles Lakers uniform. The black comedy is a unique look at a group of fictional Wall Street employees in the time before the 1987 stock market crash. The outfit Rannells is wearing definitely fits the timeline of the show!

Rannells is openly gay, and here is seen ringing in the beginning of Pride in June 2022 in a photo of him standing below a rainbow flag in what appears to be a bar. He claims he needs more Pride month photos, but we think this one is plenty good enough for now!

Rannells shares a very powerful piece he wrote in 2021 talking about the connections he made online with fans through the Cameo app. People came to Rannells for comfort and support during the tough times of COVID-19, often talking about their sexuality and other personal problems. The actor found it a very invigorating and needed experience, one which helped him just as much as the people on the other end of the line. We think this is an outstanding thing that Rannells did, and hopefully other celebrities can learn to use their platforms like this.

Andrew Rannells pays tribute to the veterans around America on Veterans Day in 2020 with a picture of his father, who was in the military. The two look very much alike; now we know where the actor got his good looks!

More fun photos of Rannells with Watkins. It looks like this came during the height of the pandemic, so it's awesome to see the two actors were adhering to the masking requirements while having some fun in Central Park.

Rannells was proud to support Joe Biden and Kamala Harris during the 2020 Presidential election. Fans enjoyed the fashionable, pink font of the shirt Rannells was wearing here.
