Miley Cyrus' brother Trace unleashed pushback with a post saying women who post sexually explicit content at OnlyFans are giving up "their chance of ever settling down with a good guy with morals," USA Today reported.

"OnlyFans is a social media network, like Instagram, YouTube and Facebook, where creators can earn money from users – the 'fans' – who pay a monthly membership fee to access their exclusive content," USA Today explained. "The platform has become synonymous with the adult entertainment industry and sexual content."

While not offering an opinion on the future relationship prospects of male OnlyFans creators, Trace Cyrus' post critiqued those who might "call those men insecure" who would end or refuse to enter a relationship based on whether a woman had posted explicit content to the platform, and defended that attitude as "having standards."

The post went on to claim, "I see a lot of these girls speaking out on this now saying they can't get a serious relationship." In an apparent citation of the "standards" that men who would write off women as life partners for having OnlyFans content, the post said that "men see the value of those girls strictly for sex," and declared, "A lot of successful guys will sleep with those girls but they don't want to wife them."

"I just think this independent mindset of not needing a man is extremely toxic and leads to a very lonely future.... Having a good man and a family will bring you more happiness in old age than OF ever could," the post added.

"A slew of celebrities, including Cardi B, Carmen Electra, Bella Thorne, Drea de Matteo and Iggy Azalea, have embraced the subscription-based platform in recent years for the autonomy it's given them over their sexuality and creative life," USA Today observed.

Trace Cyrus is the "former guitarist of pop rock band Metro Station," the site recalled.

Unsurprisingly, Twitter users were quick to call out the post, with more than a few of them taking note of the musician's own social media posts that show plenty of skin – and just as many tats. See some of the responses below.
