As more details recently popped up about the highly anticipated third season of Mike White's HBO satire series "The White Lotus," fans can't wait to find out who will be cast on the star-studded anthology series.

Over the last few days, social media has lit up with rumors that Harry Styles will be taking a trip to the luxury resort next year, which is set to take place in Thailand, with a guest role.

The Huffington Post UK also reports that an anonymous tip sent to the gossip page DeuxMoi seemed to suggest the pop star was going to be in the upcoming season of "The White Lotus," saying that an "A-list singer" was "circling a part."

Australian radio star Leon Sjogren even discussed the theory of Styles being part of the show on air.

All of this information lead fans to believe Styles, who has appeared in a number of films including "Dunkirk" and the gay drama "My Policeman," would be booking a flight to White's Emmy Award-winning series. But despite the hype and the rumors, the "Watermelon Sugar" singer's team reached out to HuffPost UK to confirm that the former One Direction star will not be on "The White Lotus" Season 3.

The hit show was delayed due to the Hollywood strikes but filming for the third installment will begin in February, Deadline notes, adding the upcoming season "will feature a sprawling, multi-generational cast. Thirteen roles are currently casting, nine of them series regulars – ranging in ages between 18-80s – with a patriarch, a corporate executive, an actress, a couple of mothers, a misfit and a yogi among the bunch."

"It's going to be a supersized White Lotus," White said of Season 3. "It's going to be longer, bigger, crazier. I don't know what people will think, but I am super excited, so at least for my own barometer, that's a good thing."

Natasha Rothwell, who appeared in Season 1, is the only cast member confirmed for Season 3, which is expected to debut in 2025, and will reprise her role as Belinda.
