As Production Resumes on New 'White Lotus' Season, We've Curated Our Ultimate Dream Cast
Jake Myers READ TIME: 16 MIN.
Sarah Paulson
I'm sure Ryan Murphy won't mind lending his "It" girl to Mike White for a role of a lifetime, so why not throw one of the best actresses of today onto one of the best shows, and see what happens? For some extra fun, we could even add her real-life partner Holland Taylor into the mix, and watch the fireworks explode.
Laura Dern
During a Jimmy Kimmel appearance last January, Laura addressed her sneaky "White Lotus" cameo, a brief but memorable voice performance as Abby Di Grasso in the show's second season. So, of course it makes sense that we bring her on in vivo for the follow-up season. After all, we know Mike White sees her genius, having cast cast her in the underrated masterpiece "Enlightened." It's time to give her the spotlight again!
Chloë Sevigny
We think Chloë deserves a spot on the staff in the new season. Always tortured, always put-upon, it's beyond fun to watch this masterful actor take misery to new heights.
Jean Smart
Can't you see Jean raising utter hell as a guest at the resort? We can! If her performance in Hacks tells us anything, it's that this diva knows how to grab our attention, but in a way that brings heart and soul to her every performance.
Timothée Chalamet
We think it's time for Timothy to go back to his roots by playing the ultimate twink again (move over Troy Sivan). Or better yet, could Troy also be in the cast to grab his attention? Just hide the peaches.
Henry Golding
This dreamboat just exudes rich, especially with his velvety accent that simply makes us swoon. Let's see, in the spirit of last season's iconic prostitutes, perhaps he could be a male escort, hired to seduce... Jean Smart?
And of course...Jennifer Coolidge!
Last but not least, do we really think Mike White won't figure out some way to include the icon again in this third season? After all, who says the series has to take place after the first and second seasons? There's plenty of ways to bring our favorite character back to life, even if it's in flashbacks or a prequel storyline. Jennifer finally got her due as a superstar in the series, and we think her star should keep shining!
