Sparks Flying Between Ricky Martin and 'Sense8' Actor Miguel Ángel Silvestre?

Mutual admiration society, bromance at a distance, or merely a case of media niceties? Whatever the case may be, Spanish actor Miguel Ángel Silvestre has been praised on social media by Ricky Martin. Then, during a red carpet event, Silvestre reckoned that Martin is "a beautiful man in every way."

Pride recalled how last spring, after a naked photo shoot that landed Silvestre on the cover of the Spanish version of Esquire, the "Sense8" star shared some steamy snaps from the shoot on Instagram, "including a pretty explicit image that showed his ass from a side angle."

Both Martin and his husband at the time, Jwan Yosef, showed their appreciation. "Guapura 🔥🙌🔥," Martin posted. Yosef responded with "star emojis and fire emojis" in his own comment, Pride recounted.

Silvestre was on the red carpet for the premiere of Season 2 of his series "The Envoys" (on Paramount+) when a reporter asked him a couple of cheeky questions, one of them being whether he'd considered taking his talents to OnlyFans, Pride narrated. The actor responded, basically, that he'd have to check with his mother about that one.

Then the reporter asked how the actor, whose sexuality is unknown, liked the attention that male fans send his way - Martin among them.

Silvestre replied that he felt "a lot of pride. Even more so in that case of Ricky Martin, who I also say is beautiful."

The adoration went on from there, though it carried a platonic tinge. "I have been listening to him since I was very little," Silvestre said, "and I was lucky enough to meet him. He is a beautiful man in every way. I feel very flattered."

That sizzling share from the Esquire shoot wasn't the first nor the last time Silvestre made fans sweat at his Insta account.

But that doesn't mean he's gay.

"Even though Silvestre played a queer character on 'Sense8,'" Pride cautioned, "he is presumed to be straight. In any case, the actor is not known for speaking in public about his dating life."
