John Waters Just Bagged His Creepiest Role Yet

The iconic off-kilter director John Waters is returning to the Chuckyverse.

As reported by EW, Waters is set to join "Chucky" season 3 as the creepy creator of the Good Guy dolls.

Specifically, Waters will play Wendell Wilkins, the toy brand's reclusive founder who eventually gets wrapped up with Chucky in Part 2 of season 3.

This will actually be Waters' second time in the company of a Chucky doll. He played a photographer named Pete Peters who gets dissolved in acid in 2004's "Seed of Chucky."

EW can exclusively reveal that the legendary director of is returning to the Child's Play horror universe.

"I still get recognized on the subway from 'Chucky,'" Waters said last year about his role. "The only person who has ever recognized me on the subway, it's because of Chucky."

Waters of course has a litany of iconic role that everyone knows him from, including "Pink Flamingo," "Hairspray," and "Serial Mom."

Other special guests in SyFy's "Chucky" included Jennifer Tilly as Tiffany Valentine, the girlfriend to Brad Dourif's iconic serial killer Charles Lee Ray. Also, "Final Destination" star Devon Sawa has played a wide range of roles in the show.

To Chucky executive producer Don Mancini, actors donning multiple roles in the show is all in good fun.
