Ariana DeBose

Ever since she swept awards season two years ago for her star-making turn in the "West Side Story" remake, out triple threat Arian DeBose has a been a fixture on red carpets. From hosting gigs at the BAFTAs and back-to-back Tony Awards, DeBose effortless combines fierceness with femininity, edge with elegance. She just never misses, and we suspect her fashion star will only grow brighter.

Alan Cumming

Among all the standout style stories of the year, none were as surprising as the attention Cumming received for his outfits on the reality game show "The Traitors." From People Magazine and The New York Times to Vogue and The Guardian, Cumming's whimsical and oh-so-Scottish looks captivated all that watched. That Cumming largely wears his own clothes on the show makes him an indelible figure of 2023 style.

Jerrod Carmichael

Known for his three HBO comedy specials, NBC's "The Carmichael Show," and for doing a bang-up job as the host of this year's Golden Globe Awards, Carmichael was one of 2023's most buzzed about queer stars, and he certainly dressed the part, not only for his six costume changes during the Globes, but because of the shirtless ensemble he wore when he took home his first Emmy.

Law Roach

Stylist to celebrities like Celine Dion, Zendaya, Kerry Washington, and Ariana Grande, Roach quickly became one of the most sought-after celebrity stylists after Kanye West was photographed walking into a store he owned in Chicago back in 2009. But in 2023, Roach made headlines when he announced that he would be retiring as a stylist in order to live a happier life. While it remains to be seen what Roach will do next, he's still earned his place as one of the most stylish and influential queer people of the year.

Kristen Kish

This Korean-born chef is best known for winning the tenth season of "Top Chef," and since then she's appeared on a string of food-centric television shows, the most recent of which is the 2023 National Geographic series "Restaurants at the End of the World." But in addition to her award-winning knife skills, Kish has become almost as famous for her look: Clean, slightly grungy, and covered in tattoos. No one can pull off a cuffed tee quite like her.
