Britney Spears' Team is Allegedly Trying to Lure Her Back to Music

As we previously reported, there were lots of rumors swirling about Britney Spears' potential return to music and what songwriters she planned to work with. However, the Pop Princess herself is saying otherwise.

In an Instagram post, Brit Brit set the record straight about music and her long-awaited 10th studio album, reported Page Six.

"Just so we're clear most of the news is trash !!! They keep saying I'm turning to random people to do a new album ... I will never return to the music industry !!!" said Britney on Wednesday.

She added, "When I write, I write for fun or I write for other people !!! For those of you who have read my book, there's loads you don't know about me ..."

Spears admitted that she is a "ghostwriter" and likes that creative outlet just fine, explaining that she has "written over 20 songs for other people" during the past two years.

"I'm a ghostwriter and I honestly enjoy it that way !!!" she said.

She also took the time to share that making music is one of the last things on her list to do. She also took a moment to discuss the terms of how her memoir, "The Woman In Me" was released in October 2023.

"People are also saying MY BOOK WAS RELEASED WITHOUT MY APPROVAL ILLEGALLY and that's far from the truth," she wrote. " ... have you read the news these days ??? I'm so LOVED and blessed !!!"

According to Brit, "I will never return to the music industry !!!" But that doesn't mean she won't make music on her own.
