Max's "Hacks" Season 3 is almost back, according to the show's official Instagram account. The Emmy Award-winning comedy, starring Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder, will hit the streamer this spring.
Although there is no official date set for the first episode, fans are waiting with bated breath for more of the critically-acclaimed show.
Back as recurring cast members are Kaitlin Olson, Christopher McDonald, Jane Adams, Paul W. Downs, Poppy Liu, Rose Abdoo, Mark Indelicato, Meg Stalter, Angela E. Gibbs, Luenell, Johnny Sibilly, Joe Mande, Ally Maki, and Lorenza Izzo.
For Season 2, the show added Laurie Metcalf, Martha Kelly, Ming-Na Wen, and Susie Essman as recurring guest stars, and Margaret Cho and Devon Sawa as featured guests.
For those who haven't been following the hit show, "Hacks" follows young comedy writer Ava Daniels (Einbinder), who is hired to help modernize the act of legendary comedian Deborah Vance (Smart). An odd couple, they are initially at each other's throats. Then they form an unlikely friendship and find a sweet sport in their senses of humor.
The show was created by showrunners Paul W. Downs, Lucia Aniello, and Jen Statsky. Downs and Aniello are also executive producers for their company Paulilu, and Stastky executive produces for First Thought Productions.
Season 1 of the show was nominated for 15 Emmys.
