'Feud' Rumors About Tan France, Bobby Berk Heat Up

Rumors of a feud between "Queer Eye" castmates Bobby Berk – the show's interior design expert – and fashion guru Tan France heated up with Berk not tagging France in a recent post and social media users taking note of the two unfollowing each other on Instagram.

Tabloid newspaper the U.S. Sun reported on the swirling speculation. "On Instagram, Bobby posted a promotional poster for the show's eighth season and tagged everyone – except for Tan," the outlet relayed.

The Tab reported on the purported feud as well, saying that "Tan is thought to have unfollowed Bobby after he posted a season eight Queer Eye announcement and didn't tag Tan. Bobby tagged everyone else in the Queer Eye cast, only tagging Tan once the post had been up for a few hours."

"When Bobby did eventually tag him, he didn't tag his main account," The Tab added, "but his secondary account called @shaded, which Tan hasn't posted to in over three years."

The Sun also reported that the interior design expert briefly unfollowed another "Queer Eye" colleague, food and drink connoisseur Antoni Porowski, before following him once again.

As previously reported, the show's upcoming eighth season will be the last to include Berk in the cast. Us Weekly reported in mid-November that, according to a source, Berk was asked to step down because he was "not vibing" with the others on the show.

"His heart was not in it and the rest of the cast started to resent him because of that," the source alleged.

Another source, however, disputed those claims, Us noted, telling the outlet "Berk 'was not asked to leave' and the 'decision was amicable.'"

In an emotional Instagram post made on Nov. 13, Berk wrote that his departure from the show had "not been an easy decision to be at peace with, but a necessary one."

Berk added in the post that "Although my journey with Queer Eye is over, my journey with you is not. You will be seeing more of me very soon." He later announced that he will star in a new show of his own.

"The reason for his departure has not been confirmed," The Sun reported, "but it seems to have sparked some bad feelings between cast members."

Scrutinizing comments at Reddit, the outlet quoted one user who wrote, "Wasn't the rumor that it was something to do with Tan getting a spin-off interior design show rather than Bobby?"

Whatever the case might be, the show's stars are staying mum. "The 'Queer Eye' cast and crew were told not to talk about Bobby's sudden exit from the show, The U.S. Sun has exclusively learned," the newspaper article said.
