"White Lotus" star Lukas Gage opened up to Andy Cohen about the "manic episode" he said his brief marriage to Chris Appleton was – and tendered his apologies to celebrity friends who helped the wedding happen.

Chatting with Cohen on the March 19 episode of "Watch What Happens Live," Gage addressed the fashion choices the grooms made that day, The Hollywood Reporter related. Saying that the idea to dress in fur coats for the ceremony was "Not mine," Gage seemed to speak about the marriage as a whole when he added, "Literally, I don't know what went through my head. I don't know what happened," before reiterating: "The fur coats was a horrible idea."

"I had a manic episode for six months," USA Today quoted the "Road House" actor. "I don't know literally what went through my head, but we live and we learn," Gage said of the decision to marry Appleton after a whirlwind romance.

"Roughly six weeks after their first red carpet appearance together, Appleton and Gage flew to Las Vegas to get married in a ceremony officiated by the hairstylist's A-list client Kim Kardashian," THR recalled, "as well as serenaded by country singer Shania Twain."

Gage made apologies to both Twain and Kardashian for the rush to the altar.

"'You're Still The One' after like three weeks?" Gage said of the song choice.

"That was, like, the biggest waste of her time," Gage – who described himself as a Shania Twain fan – went on to say. "But, I love you, Shania," the actor added. "I'm really sorry about that."

As for Kardashian, "Kim's great," Gage declared. "She was really sweet to fly us all out and take care of us and pay for everything.... Yeah, sorry to Kim and Shania."

The wedding wasn't really a waste of time for Kardashian, though. As THR noted, Gage and Appleton's trip up the aisle was "featured on a season four episode of Hulu's 'The Kardashians.'"

Gage suggested that having signed an NDA meant that Gage couldn't talk too much about what went on between himself and Appleton, but he did shoot down one particular rumor: There was "no cheating" driving the divorce, he told Cohen.

For his part, Appleton seems to have moved on. He was spotted recently enjoying a day at the beach with a new boyfriend named Federico. The buff pair were seen frolicking in the water together and enjoying the sun and sand.

Gage and fellow guest Katie Maloney took questions submitted by fans, with one person wondering what Gage's mother thought of his "White Lotus" sex scenes.

"Oh, god," Gage said. "She gave me two thumbs up. She loved every moment of it!" As Cohen and the audience cooed, Gage added, "My mom doesn't care."
