Neil Patrick Harris and Husband David Burtka Reach Milestone: 20 Years Since First Date

Celebrity couple Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka hit the 20-year mark earlier this week, celebrating two decades since their first date.
"The married pair marked 20 years since their first date on Instagram, celebrating their April 1 anniversary with a pair of photo posts, each featuring with loving captions," People Magazine detailed.
"Man, how time has flown by... and yet... we've shared so many adventures, created so many remarkable memories," Harris, 50, shared in the post, which featured a photo of himself and his husband with their arms wrapped around each other.
"If the next 7,300 days are like the previous ones, I'll be absolutely thrilled," Harris continued, before adding: "Happy anniversary, David. I love you unconditionally, most of the time. XO"
The 48-year-old Burtka, a celebrity chef, displayed just as much tenderness – and just as much wit – in a post of his own.
"My dreams have come true since we decided to take this incredible journey together," Burtka captioned a photo of himself and Harris holding hands. "Today marks 20 years since our first date and I can't imagine a better life."
"@nph I love you with all my soul," Burtka added, before adding a good-natured jab of his own: "I deserve a fucking medal... and so do you."
