Another Sean Cody Gay Porn Star Sentenced for Murder

Another former Sean Cody performer has joined the ever-growing ranks of gay porn stars from the brand to have been charged with murder.
As reported by Anchorage Daily News, Jordan Joplin, 38, was convicted by an Anchorage jury in June 2023 on charges of first- and second-degree murder, as well as first-degree theft, in the death of 58-year-old Dr. Eric Garcia.
Joplin was sentenced to 99 years in prison, and the trial was reportedly moved to Anchorage because of the publicity it received in Ketchikan.
Pink News writes that Joplin Joplin was known as Zack on Sean Cody, Logan Cruise on Men.com and Bromo, and Rob Stonebridge on Randy Blue, according to records.

According to reports, Joplin was romantically connected to Garcia in a relationship that went back for around six years. But in a sentencing memo wrote by Assistant Attorney General Erin McCarthy, Joplin saw Garcia as "an easy mark" and had planned to steal and kill him.
In 2017, Joplin poisoned Garcia at his Ketchikan home with morphine, methadone, diazepam and lorazepam, before the men were scheduled to fly to Las Vegas, prosecutors said. Garcia was found dead 10 days later, and Joplin had transferred around $40,000 from Garcia's checking account to his own. Joplin also reportedly sent three shipping containers of Garcia's belongings, worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, to his home in Washington, according to prosecutors.

Investigating prosecutors said Joplin's actions after Garcia's death "show a capacity for deceit and duplicity that is frankly bone-chilling," said McCarthy.
Joplin has been in custody at the Ketchikan Correctional Center since Wednesday.
