Watch: Gaga Promises New Show 'A Never Before Seen Experience,' Talks 'Telephone' Sequel

A few months ago, sharp-eyed fans thought they spotted signs of an impending sequel to Lady Gaga and Beyoncé's collab "Telephone" – and now Mama Monster herself says it's something she'd be up for.

Talking with Entertainment Tonight about the premiere of her concert film "Gaga Chromatica Ball," the 38-year-old pop sensation said that the concert film, which premieres May 25 on HBO, is a chance for her fans to appreciate the nuances of her "Chromatica" tour from 2020.

"I'm really excited for fans to see all the details in the show," Gaga told the outlet's Danny Directo. "There's only so much that you can see in the stadium, and we are so, so laser-focused on everything from the costumes, the fashion, the way that the show is lit... the storytelling... the music, most importantly. It's just an experience that, really, you can't replicate unless you see it in this film."

Added the "Poker Face" singer, "I'm hoping that people really enjoy it, because it's truly a never-before-seen experience."

What fans have seen before, and what they want more of, is Gaga and her fellow pop legend Beyoncé teaming up on a song and video, as they did for 2009's "Telephone," which was featured on Gaga's album "The Fame Monster." The iconic video followed in 2010.

Fans had theorized that a followup to that song might be among the tracks on Beyoncé's recent album, "Cowboy Carter." That wasn't the case, but with Gaga penning new music, anything might happen.

Indeed, Gaga is already talking up her next studio album.

As for the how, when, and whether a "Telephone" sequel will ever ring our bells, Gaga suggested that the ball is in her onetime collaborator's court – and made a pun while she was at it. "Whenever Beyoncé calls, I'd like to pick up the phone," teased the "Bad Romance" chanteuse.
