READ TIME: 1 MIN.
Justin Bieber is ringing in the new year with a new era.
The pop star debuted his music video for the new song "Anyone" at his T-Mobile-sponsored New Year's Eve event and in a statement to Rolling Stone said: "I can't think of a better way to close out 2020 and kick off 2021 than celebrating with my fans all over the world and sharing this new music with them."
Directed by Colin Tilley, who recently directed Bieber's "Holy" video and Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's "WAP" vid, the "Anyone" music video opens with a shirtless and tattooless Bieber working out and jogging as he trains to be a boxer. The clip finds Bieber winning a number of matches until he's knocked out and passes out for a bit before rejoining the match.
On Instagram, Bieber shared a behind-the-scenes clip for the video in which he's wearing his signature Calvin Klein underwear while crew members use makeup to remove his several tattoos.
"Anyone" comes after Bieber's single "Holy," featuring Chance the Rapper and his 2020 album "Changes." Bieber recently earned four Grammy nominations but took issue for not being nominated in any of the R&B categories. Read more about that here.
