Jennifer Coolidge in Provincetown for two shows only

Jennifer Coolidge brings her stand-up comedy back to her Massachusetts roots with two shows at Vixen/Madeira Room in Provincetown.

Coolidge will be performing her newest stand-up comedy routine, "Avoid Reality at All Times," at 10:30 p.m. on July 7 and 8 at the Madeira Room/Vixen, 336 Commercial St.

Coolidge Performs Two Nights Only: July 7 and 8

Coolidge grew up in Boston and attended Norwell High School. She began her comedy career in New York City with the Gotham City Improv group. She later moved to Los Angeles where she became a longtime member of the Groundlings.

Her television and film career began in 1990 when she appeared in "Seinfeld." She is best known for her role as Stifler's Mother, a sultry alcoholic who seduces her son's high school classmates, in "American Pie" and "American Pie 2."

Coolidge also had hilarious memorable roles in "Legally Blonde" and "Best in Show."

Coolidge is also a versatile character actress who is able to deliver a comedic line like no one else.
