'2 Girls 1 Pup' Two Year Birthday Party Show!

"2 Girls 1 Pup," the comedy show you can bring your dog to, is turning two!

Comet the Pup and producer Monique Madrid welcome dogs and humans alike to their Birthday Party Bash at Tailwagger's Pet Store on April 3rd. The red carpet event starts at 7:00 pm with the comedy beginning at 7:30 pm.

The special anniversary show features a great lineup, including Ian Karmel ("Conan," writer for "The Late Late Show with James Corden"), magician Justin Wilman (Fake Believe Tour, "Ellen"), Impressionist Melissa Villasenor ("America's Got Talent," "Family Guy"), Kate Willett ("Bridgetown Comedy Festival," "Comedy Central"), other surprise guests, plus the audience's dogs! To celebrate the occasion, there will be door prizes, party gifts, extra special raffle prizes, and of course birthday cake!

"2 Girls 1 Pup" is one of the most unique live comedy shows in Hollywood, and was recently named one of the "10 Best New Standup Shows in LA" by LA Weekly. The night is full of hilarious dog-themed comedy, games, and segments, plus free PUPcorn and beer, raffle prizes, a caricature artist, and give-aways.

The show has grown significantly since it's first performance, and this past year has included an appearance at Riot LA, the launch of a weekly podcast (The PUPcast!) and shows no signs of slowing down. "It's such a fun way to spend time with your pup. Audiences and their dogs return regularly for the unpredictability and adorableness, not to mention the funny, that happens when you invite dogs to a comedy show," says Madrid.

To top it off, all proceeds benefit The Tailwaggers's Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides funding to qualified 501c non-profit organizations who supply life saving treatment to sick and injured animals.
