READ TIME: 4 MIN.

It's October 3rd. Happy "Mean Girls" Day!

It's been 13 years since the seminal comedy hit theaters, and fans are still celebrating October 3 as "Mean Girls" Day - the iconic moment when Aaron Samuels (Jonathan Bennett) asks Cady (Lindsay Lohan) the date.

In a voice over, Cady says, "On October 3rd, he asked me what day it was."

"It's October 3rd," she replies.

To celebrate, Lohan took to Instagram Stories, sharing clips of herself re-watching "Mean Girls," Teen Vogue notes. She also shared a screen shot of the scene, adding the following caption:

"OMG!! #itsoctober3rd follow me on snapchat! My name is Bella79."

Lohan has been clamoring for a "Mean Girls" sequel for awhile now.

"I know Tina Fey and Lorne Michaels and all of Paramount [Pictures] are very busy. But I will keep forcing it and pushing it on them until we do it," she told CNN last year.

She also tweeted about it earlier this year, writing, "Emma Stone, can we film a movie called 'Mean Girls 2' together?"

Though it doesn't look like a new "Mean Girls" movie is on the horizon, a Broadway musical based on the film is coming to New York City in March.

TMZ caught up with Bennett last year where the out actor //www.edgemedianetwork.com/entertainment/theatre/news//204748thanked fans for remembering the "Mean Girls" moment.

"It's a big day... I think its fun for the fans because its two lines in the movie. I literally turn around and ask what day is it?" he told TMZ.

"I woke up and there were like 3,000 text messages from people like, 'WHAT DAY IS IT?!'" the actor yelled. "Which is nice; it's awesome because thank you to the fans, we love you."
