Watch: Full Trailer for 'My Friend Dahmer' is Finally Here

After months of teasing, the first full trailer for "My Friend Dahmer" has finally hit the Internet.

The upcoming movie, based on the graphic novel "My Friend Dahmer" by John "Def" Backdef, follows serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer (Disney star Ross Lynch) as a high schooler before killing 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991.

"'My Friend Dahmer' is basically the coming of age story of Jeffrey Dahmer," Lynch told Entertainment Weekly earlier this year. "[It's about] how he became the serial killer that we know him to be. I was looking for a role that would somewhat be a challenge for me. I had done a lot of work with Disney, and sort of a younger demographic, and I was excited to do something that maybe people didn't expect from me."

Directed and written by Marc Meyers, "My Friend Dahmer" will hit theaters on Nov. 3.
