Who's the Baby's Daddy? Would You Believe Perez Hilton?

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton announced on his website that he is now the father of a baby boy.

Hilton, 34, wrote an open letter on his popular gossip website, PerezHilton.com, on Wednesday to make the announcement. Hilton, however, never mentioned to the press or wrote that he was expecting a child and did not reveal any information about the birth of his son or his name.

"I am ready to announce that earlier this month I was blessed with the birth of my first child, a beautiful and healthy baby boy - with lots of hair on his tiny head!" Hilton, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira, wrote. "I am so humbled to welcome this little man into my life. And I am honored and ready for the challenge of guiding him through his."

In lieu of sending gifts, Hilton asked his fans to donate to VH1's Save the Music Foundation and the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network.

ABC News points out that a number of celebrities Tweeted their congratulations to the controversial blogger after the news broke.

"Congrats daddy!!! Beyond thrilled for u. Welcome to the club....xo," Denise Richards tweeted.

"Welcome to the club @PerezHilton Sooo happy for u! #babyperez," Jenny McCarthy wrote.

"Congratulations @PerezHilton on your new son. Such exciting news, so happy for you! ? Love Paris," Paris Hilton tweeted.

"Congrats to our man @PerezHilton! Thanks for sharing the great news about your son with all of us - let us know if you need any baby tips!" the Backstreet Boys' official Twitter account tweeted.

And as Jezebel points out, "Let's just be grateful that the baby is boy; it greatly reduces the risk of having his image covered in MS Paint renderings of dicks and semen."

It's not unusual for Hilton to be at the center of a celebrity feud. In January got into a Twitter war with up and coming rapper Azealia Banks after he took issue with her use of the word "faggot."

"does your butthole whistle? Like is your butthole so stretched and raggedy the air whistles when you move?" Banks tweeted to Hilton. After a few back-and-forth comments, Banks eventually tweeted to the blogger, "omg u should just kill yourself...like for real." and "lol what a messy faggot you are."

Hilton replied and wrote, "Sweetie, you're not ignorant. You know you shouldn't call me the F word. That AND wishing I die? You hoping I get AIDS next?"
